The world of mobile software is about to change dramatically. At 5Degrees, we strive to help lead mobile technology forward by developing the “missing pieces” that move it into the realm of serious, robust functionality. From handling synchronization between multiple devices and the Web… to moving and manipulating sizable amounts of mobile data… to creating a Web app architecture that takes the guesswork out of cross-browser compatibility… we get deep in the weeds and build the solution.
I spend much of my time looking ahead to see where the next piece of highway is missing, so we can have it built before the team (and the world) needs it. Then I try to design that piece to be as simple and reliable as possible. As we all increasingly rely on our mobile devices to solve our daily problems, we expect more and more “true software” functionality from them. The days of immature apps are over. I’m here with 5Degrees to make the new amazing world of mobile happen.
